When I bought my new Winnebago View from Bill Plemmons RV 7 months ago I had the best buying experience from a dealer that I have ever had. You would not believe the RVers that I have met that could not get service after the sale!

We have had the pleasure of speaking to you over the past years at the RV Shows. This year after speaking to you at the show in September, we went out to see what you had on the Raleigh lot. We wanted to let you know how much we are enjoying our Vista RV, we have been on two vacations, and getting ready for a third, plus using it as an extra bedroom when we have company.
Downsizing was a concern, but we have found that we carry everything we need and still have plenty of empty storage space.

I recently hail the opportunity to-purchase a used RV from your Raleigh-showroom and wanted to share our experience with you. Based upon my Father-In-Law's recommendation as a Plemmons customer, we visited your Raleigh dealership as we were contemplating moving up from our Class C to a Class A Motorhome.
There was nothing in stock that we really liked, but our salesman, whose name escapes me told us he was expecting a trade in on Tuesday that sounded like it was exactly what we were looking for. Dad went over and saw the coach before the motor had cooled. He called and told us that this is exactly what we wanted
and though he wasn't sure of our finances, he assured us that it was the best used coach he had ever seen. Based upon his recommendation and some quick
dealing with our salesman, we purchased our new coach, sight unseen.
The following weekend we drove down to make the exchange. The Saturday that we came to make the swap the dealership had a huge open house underway,
suffered the theft of a new mega Class A coach and tornado were rapidly approaching. These were the storms that ended up devastating Raleigh and much of No. Carolina. While everyone was most attentive, all had many ... many things on their minds and we were most interested in heading north, away from the tornado.
After so doing we found several items that needed attention and had we taken the time to realize these issues, we wouldn't have accepted delivery. Now we're
700 miles away, with no plans or opportunities to return in the near future. We took the coach to a dealer that is a member of your warranty coverage and the
costs incurred were in excess of $1,100. I figured well ...â€¢ Now we are on the hook. But I was wrong. I spoke with Jamie, Anthony and Kelly and after some
research and discussion all the costs we incurred were covered. Unbelieveable!!
I just want you to know that you have earned another Plemmons Customer for life! Please convey to all your staff our thanks and hopefully when I retire, we'll

I could not have been more pleased with the treatment that we enjoyed at this dealership. The sales person, Lisa was delightful and very knowledgeful of the product. I just wanted to thank Jamie, Wells and Brandon on my father's recent camper purchase. As they were for me last year, friendly, respectful and courteous to Dad's needs. These are three great guys that have been a pleasure to deal with. Keep up the good work.
Just wanted to say thank you for putting us in our second home. When we went to your lot it was just to look around. We had looked at campers last summer in Garner, when we went in the salesman told us the campers we might be interested in were on the left, just look around and let him know if we saw one that we liked. We looked and did see a couple we were intested in. We went inside and asked him about them, he did get us a price and told us the campers were on line and the price would be posted with the camper, we left.
Later this winter we stopped at your store and you asked if you could help. We just wanted to look at a camper and you walked with us to the camper and gave any information you had and answered all our questions, we went back in side and you asked questions and got to a point that you wanted to show us a different camper you thought we would like better. After a tour of the camper we thought about it a couple of days and decided to buy it. You were willing to help us it didn't matter if we were just looking or needed to buy it on the spot, you took time to show us what we wanted to see, to find out what we wanted, what we needed and you stayed in touch without making us feel that you were pushing us to make a decision. After we purchased the camper, from meeting with finance officer to giving the tour of our new camper, buying extra parts to paying for them, everyone took time to answer all the questions at that time we could think of and told us they were just a phone call or email away if we had other questions. We would like to think Steve, Sandra, Chris, James, Tony, Kara and Wells after he had showed us everything he could on the tour of the camper he called us just to make sure we knew how to dewinterize the camper when we wanted to start using it. With the people working at the dealership its worth taking the time to go here before you purchase anywere else. The company pays their employees but the employees makes the company.

I just wanted to send a short note to let you know about the good experience we had recently at your Rural Hall location. My wife and I bought an Everlite travel trailer. We are still in the process of getting ready for our first trip in it but it tows easily so far.
The purchase experience was great at Rural Hall. Rick Loomis was very attentive to our needs. We had looked at several travel trailers before coming to Rural Hall and had seen an Everlite in Raleigh, noted on your website that you had a FK there and we had just planned on looking. Rick was very good at listening to our needs and showed us several different trailers that fitted our criteria. He was not pushy or impatient, was very informative and we greatly appreciated it.
Once we made the decision Rick helped tremendously with the process and everyone we dealt with was friendly and helpful. Tim from finance and Sam Fletcher parts were great too. We brought our new camper home on Thursday, packed it up that night, and left for Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park the next day. We had a fantastic weekend and absolutely love our new camper. Steve , I purchased a 1993 cruise air motor home from you in Jan 2008 I picked up this motor home approximately a month latter I drove it 4600 miles home with only one little problem ( we lost 3 lug nuts on the back tire ) The sales person John Fry and the rest of the staff were very pleasant and professional thru all the steps of this sale . As you may not be aware of is that I made the deal for this unit using the Internet and did not see this unit till the time of pick it was all that John said it was if not better ( he did a good job and was always helpful )
As I know it is very difficult dealing with people from such a distanced ( different country ) and on a as is unit the only thing I would do different was on the inspection process I would hope that when they checked out the unit, they would give a detailed report on the unit along with the costs to repair . In this case it needed new shocks , the exhaust fixed , fuel filter changed ,air cleaner changed and a few lights changed out ( as this is not a problem at all, as I was well aware it was a as is unit and more than willing to pay all the costs to have your company do all the repairs .)
All in all we are very pleased with this deal and how we were treated.

On July 17th, I called your shop with a failed refrigerator unit on my 2006 adventurer. Unlike several other North Carolina Winnebago dealerships, who told me it would be 5 to 10 days before they could take me in and even look at the problem, you told me, "Come on down." In spite of your existing service load during this peak summer travel time and even with your company not being the selling dealership, they still had the problem diagnosed and parts on the way that same day ...Going above and beyond the call of duty, with a smile and positive attitude no matter what, is a rare thing these days.
Our 2001 Journey DL motorcoach was repaired at your facility the week of June 5th of this year. The RV had been hit in a parking lot by an 18 wheeler, requiring extensive body work and parts replacement. We choose Plemmons to do the repair work even though we live in Honey Book, PA, which is over 480 miles from your facility...Our confidence was not misplaced. The repair job was accomplished with quality workmanship, courtesy and promptness...We will continue to depend on Plemmons RV and if the occasion ever arises that we need to trade our RV, we certainly will choose Plemmons. We truly cannot say enough good things about Tim and Jimmy. We are sure you know that you have great assets in each of these fine gentlemen. Jimmy has been very patient with us and we struggled with our decisions, especially this last one. He knew when to push and when not to. We did look at the Holiday brand, but didn't care for it or the salesperson and couldn't imagine not purchasing from Jimmy. Hopefully, for us, this is the last motorhome we will purchase because we hope to keep it forever. Our only regret is that we would not continue to work with these two guys!
There were others that we were impressed with: during the Raleigh show and in the snow, while Jimmy was at the show, David walked with us for the final set of check-offs. On the day we closed, our walk thru on the Vectra was done by Paul and it was the most informed of any of our walk-thrus. To teach old "motorhome" dogs new tricks is a big task, but Paul did.
We couldn't close this letter without saying that Russ Carroll has always been excellent. Another reason we decided to purchase the Vectra was that we knew if we had a problem we could call Russ or Shawna! Dealing with them has always been a pleasure.
We know how hard it is to find good, loyal employees. You have found that in these. Probably in all your employees, because we have never met anyone there that was not friendly.

Johnnie and I want to thank you so much for the positive experience we had at Bill Plemmons RV World/Raleigh from moment we walked in the door until the delivery of our new travel trailer. Prior to coming there, we had been looking "on line" at used and new trailers all over NC for three days, and had decided that Bill Plemmons had the best selection and what appeared to be the most reasonable prices to us. We found your web site to be the most "user friendly", along with the pictures and prices. When we walked through your door we were clear we wanted to purchase a trailer that day. Needless to say...we were impressed by your "over the top" service and were greatly pleased with our choice of dealership!
Lisa from the very beginning, you were open, friendly and knowledgeable. You listened carefully to the details of what we felt we wanted and immediately showed us the travel trailers that you thought would satisfy our "list". As this was our first purchase of one, you were patient and explained everything in detail which was important to us. You showed us three trailers that you thought would work the best....and we ending up choosing the very first one. It suits our needs perfectly and we love it! You deserve a "gold star".
The following day we went to the RV show downtown. We had the opportunity to meet Steve Plemmons and appreciated all of his "helpful hints" regarding "RVing". The manufacturer's rep we met was great too.
Jamie, we thank you for making our "closing" an effortless experience. We really appreciated your sense of humor and especially your attention to detail. Please tell Tony, the service manager, that Jeff did a great job of educating us on the "workings" of the trailer. And then Kevin got the trailer to Elizabeth City all safe and sound in the wind and pouring rain! What a nice guy. (We hope we have all the names right).
As you can tell, we wanted to be very specific about each individual......but also the overall A+ experience. In this day and time in a world of "faster is better" it was encouraging to have true customer service again.
