We Are The One and Only Bill Plemmons RV World®! Located in Rural Hall

In 1951 Bill Plemmons founded Bill Plemmons, Inc., starting a plumbing business and then an automobile business. Success came to him as he placed customer relations high on his list of priorities. Bill would take nearly anything as a trade-in for an automobile. Once, he even accepted a pony and a cart! One day Bill's uncle came by and talked to Bill about getting a camper. He had taken his family camping and enjoyed the experience so much that his enthusiasm persuaded Bill to take his family camping in a travel trailer over Christmas vacation to a destination in Florida.

That first RVing experience changed his life and his direction. The adventure, the family togetherness, the fun, and the excitement of discovery, not only for the children but for Bill and his wife, opened his eyes to a whole new world. When he returned home and placed the camper back on the lot it sold quickly, due in part to his own enthusiasm as he spoke with his customers about the camping experience. And he saw that he could make a living selling trailers. He decided then to start looking for more camping trailers to sell so Bill could be poised to introduce, in his opinion, what was the most wonderful experience a family could have.

The RV lifestyle had won Bill over, and he wanted to share that lifestyle with whoever would listen. Developing an RV dealership became his passion and dream. He pursued it, sustained by his faith in God and his love for his family. He became a franchise dealer for Norris Homes, Inc. and went on to sell new and used RVs, winning awards and developing his business based on the principle of customer satisfaction. From hauling new trailers over the mountain one at a time, to fixing and repairing used RVs on their last legs, his passion for RVing never wavered.

Today I carry on the tradition of my father. At Bill Plemmons RV World, I remain dedicated to the RVer and the principle of customer service and satisfaction. The dream of my father lives on today and I help others experience and enjoy the adventure, the camaraderie, and the family togetherness that comes with the RV lifestyle; a lifestyle that glorifies positive ideals and the splendor of God's creation, as Dad recognized and embraced in 1951. Today, I am proud to invite each of you to come and be a part of our RVing family and experience the dream of a pioneer.
